Simonsbath Festival Art Exhibition
12th May - 28th May, The Old Pottery
Open 10am-4pm (10am-6pm Wed and Sat)
FINAL WEEK (closes Monday May 28)
The sixth annual Simonsbath Festival Art Exhibition will take place at The Old Pottery, Simonsbath, in the centre of the village just by the Exmoor Forest Inn.
The exhibition showcases some of the South West’s most innovative and influential printmakers, whose work reflects something of the quality of moorland life, the physical beauty of the landscape and the diversity of the culture, flora and fauna.
This year’s exhibition features framed and unframed work, all of which is for sale.
The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm every day and until 6pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Exhibiting artists will be on hand on different days during the coming week to explain the processes they use to produce their work: Julian Witts (May 21), Tim Reynolds (May 23), Steve Manning (May 26), Hilary Adair (May 24 & 28), Luna North (May 27) and Jo Minoprio (May 28). Ceramicist Jacqueline Leighton-Boyce is also making a new work for the last week of the exhibition – to replace all the work she submitted that has already sold!
