Founded in 1979, Exmoor Ales was one of the pioneer 'Micro Breweries' to stand against the onslaught of keg ale flooding the market from the 'Big Brewers'. The company concentrated on crafting ales of character and flavour which gained the support of the public and helped lead to the cask ale revival of the early eighties.

The Exmoor Pony Festival
The Exmoor Pony Festival brings together a combination of events and activities at various locations around Exmoor National Park, the home of the famous Exmoor Pony.

The Riverford box scheme began when Guy Watson started delivering vegetables locally to 30 friends in Devon. Riverford now deliver around 47,000 boxes a week to homes around the UK from their regional farms.

Withypool Tearoom and Village Shop
Withypool Tea Room is to be found in the centre of this picturesque village, opposite the local traditional village shop and yards from the stone bridge that crosses the river Barle. The Tearoom is ideally situated in the heart of Exmoor, providing a base or destination for the numerous countryside pursuits that this wonderful area of the moor has to offer.

Exmoor Community Youth Club
Founded in 2010, Exmoor Community Youth Club meets every Friday night from 6 to 8pm in the pavilion behind the church in Exford and provides a happy place for young people to pursue sports, crafts, games and make new friends.

First was founded in Porlock in 2008 to provide businesses with a single source for all their marketing, including design, print, web, email and all other requirements to drive their clients’ projects forward.
